Refugee status recognition…and how about the life after?

Case

I am a 15-year-old boy.

I came to France from Syria 5 years ago, together with my mother and brothers. We were recognised as refugees soon after arriving.

I was happy when I arrived here because I did not hear the sound of bombing and gunshots anymore. But I did not know how life went on, and my mother did not tell us anything that we could do. I guess she did not have any idea about our life and did not make education on priority.
I stayed in our place most of the time in the beginning because I did not know where I could go and I did not understand the local language.

After a while, I met other refugees and migrants who stayed on the street. I recently stay with them and do not go back home anymore.

I am a mother of a 15-year-old boy.
Since my boy has not come back home for a while, I am really worried about him.

Other refugee people told me that he stays around a park and a station. I walk around there every day to look for him.
They also told me that he might be addicted to drugs.

It must be a hard time for his family. In addition, if he is addicted to drugs, getting him back would be more difficult.

Moving to another country as a refugee is not the end of the process. The support service is very important after migration.

Especially for children, going to school and learning are crucial for personal development.
I wish that an environment and system are established in which all children can learn.

But it is not easy. Because many refugees arrive during the war, it may be difficult for a host country to do it perfectly.

How can we resolve and avoid this kind of situation?
